(1) CdTe's forbidden band width (about 1.45 eV) is matched with the solar spectrum, and is higher than that of the silicon material by 100 times. It is suitable for the preparation of high-efficiency thin film solar cells.The theoretical conversion conversion rate is 28%;

(2) Compared with silicon materials, CdTe has low power temperature coefficient and good low-light effect, indicating that it is deuterated. Cadmium solar cells are more suitable for complex geographical environments such as deserts and high temperatures, and can generate electricity in low light conditions such as early morning and cloudy days;

(3) CdTe is a simple binary compound that is easy to produce single-phase materials. The cadmium telluride thin film solar cell has a simple structure, and its production time is greatly shortened compared with silicon-based solar energy, and it is only a few hours to complete the shipment from glass to finished product.
